I’m Ro. Born and raised in the heart of Otara. What you see here isn't just paint on a canvas or a design on a shirt—it’s a lifetime of watching, learning, and breathing the struggles and the beauty of our people.

For a long time, the dream of a busy studio was just that—a dream. But in 2018, I got back to the tools. I realized I didn't need a fancy degree to tell our story. I had my heritage, my Samoan roots, and the truth of these streets.

In my work, color isn't just for show. Every hue is researched and chosen with respect to our ancestors. It’s a language. It’s about revelation—unveiling the truths of who we are as Māori and Polynesian people.

Ar.Ti is "streetwear 4the brave." It’s for the USO who aren't afraid to look back at their lineage to find their way forward. I don’t do fake familiarity or the "too familiar" act. I’m a grown woman keeping it 100. If you value authenticity and the grit it takes to be real, then you’re part of the journey.
