And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues; Revelations 18:4
The Story Behind the Piece
This painting has been a long time in the making. I was first led to the verse in Revelation 18:4 back in 2018—it was brought to my attention in a way that was personal, not just something I stumbled upon. That warning stayed with me for four years before I finally put brush to canvas in 2022.
The Vision
The visual inspiration came from that famous scene in the movie The Ten Commandments, where Moses leads the people through the parted sea to escape Pharaoh. To me, that "way out" represents the choice we have to make today. When He says "Come out of her, my people," I know it's a warning to step away from the spiritual and satanic systems that define our modern world. "The Harlot that sits upon the Beast" is much bigger than any government; it’s a spiritual trap of wickedness and evil. This painting is about that moment of walking away from the darkness and refusing to take part in those things anymore.
