His Treasured Possession
This painting is a quiet reflection on identity and what it means to be truly seen. I chose a cool metallic green for the background—it’s a grounded, steady color that has a nice shimmer when the light catches it, giving the whole piece a calm energy.
The gold hibiscus is tucked into the design to add a gentle glow without taking over. For me, it represents delicate strength: the kind of quiet resilience you have when you know you’re "set apart." It’s about being soft but steady.
The Fa’atuli motifs are cradled within wavy designs that represent the Spirit. I used the number two throughout—two motifs and two waves—because it’s a symbol of witness and partnership. It’s a visual way of showing our union with the Creator—that we aren’t just out here on our own, but are walking in step with the Spirit as His treasured possession.
